That's all well and good - well done on your job-getting by the way - but here, in essence, is what you've said:
- Apply for jobs
- Be specific about what jobs you apply for
- Don't just apply through companies, apply through agencies too
- Don't have a CV that's written on a McDonalds wrapper
- Don't go to the interview dressed like a tramp
- Do the interview well
I, for one, would like to know what makes a good CV, HOW to impress the interviewer, and HOW to make someone realise yeah, you only have a couple of years' experience, but you're worth interviewing. It goes without saying that your CV should look good, you should interview well and you should dress smartly.
This isn't me having a go, by the way - before I got my current job, I made over 4000 applications in just under four years and this job was my only interview. I know it's not my CV because I resorted to carry-able lies. I need to know things like HOW to get looked at.
Congrats again!
