York: This beautiful city, within easy reach of York’s Leeds Bradford International Airport, has a charming and well preserved historical centre. Obviously, do not miss the imposing cathedral, a walk on the walls of the city and across the narrow streets of downtown. Very nice is also the Railway Museum where old real trains are exposed.

Suggestions for those who have a a free long week to spend abroad: go to York!

I was in York with a friend who says that York is a very touristy town with tourist prices. He says that York is best to be visited during low seasons ( we were there in August). He loved the mini-tour guide which provides useful into on trains and hotels, and where to find cheap restaurants and shops!
