Perfume as our distinguishing signature

Few things define a person more than the perfume you wear. It is without any doubt your distinguishing signature. The problem arises when your perfume is no longer produced and you must choose a new perfume. Many are the things you have to consider. Some say that certain components release sensations if people smell them. The spicy musk is since long time considered very sensual just as many people conceive vanilla aphrodisiac. Floral and fruit fragrances are members of the fresh and relaxing perfume's category. If you want to clarify yours' thoughts there is nothing better than go to a perfume shop and then test it on your skin. One of the most common mistakes is to consider that scents smell same way on all skins. Nothing more wrong than this. I suggest to test the perfume directly on your skin, usually on one's wrist. For a better choice, my suggestion is to go to the perfume shop in the morning, when you are able to smell scents more deeply. It is obvious that if you have a cold you'd better postpone your test.

First, spray a perfume on your clean and non-perfumed wrist and then wait for some seconds to make the alcohol in the perfume dissolve: after a minute you will have a first idea on how the perfume smells, the definitive smell will appear after about ten minutes. That's the reason why it is advisable not to smell perfumes cap. When testing perfumes, my advice is to try not more than five different scents, to avoid to get confused. I suggest to try fragrances that are similar; the first time you can test floral fragrances rather than fruit fragrances or oriental fragrances. Next time you may test ocean or green fragrances.

Generally speaking, I suggest to use fresh and fruity fragrances in summer while in contrast deeper fragrances, such as spicy and oriental ones, are more appropriate to the cold period of the year. Floral fragrances are without any doubt the most common between women. They are actually best selling scents in the world. Fruit fragrances use the typical notes of orange, lemon rather than melon or tangerine as tope notes and are very much appreciated, especially by teenagers. Ocean fragrances are getting increasingly widespread because people love this new trend in fragrances, the typical fresh smell of the ocean waves as well as green fragrances that recall natural scents. Oriental fragrances propose spicy and floral scents, composed by trees resins, such as sandalwood that is my favourite one. I really cannot go out without wearing a spray of my sandalwood perfume. It may be helpful to know that it is suggested to keep your perfume in fresh places, avoiding direct light (dark is better) to let your perfume last longer.

Furthermore, my advice is not to use your perfume on silk fabrics as it may produce blots on it. This the reason why it is suggested to spray your perfume on your body before you get dressed. Last suggestion: a perfume does not last on your skin for hours, usually less than four hours. If you require the effect of your perfume for the whole day, my advice is to spray it more times during the day.
