Nintendo DS: bring funny games with you!

If you have children at home, you will certainly know that in these days videogames are an almost necessary support for the entertainment of your sons. There is no question that videogames are actually the most widespread play in the world.

I was quite unfavourable to videogames but my sons kept on begging a console so persistently that at the end I surrendered. I then made various researches on Internet and, between the dozens of products the market offers now, I finally decided to buy a Nintendo DS to my sons.
The Nintendo DS is a dual screen game console that Nintendo first released in 2004. It is equipped with two LCD screens; the one at the bottom is a touch screen. The touch screen is projected to be used through the included stylus or the user's fingers. What is lovely is that the touch screen permits the interaction with the features of the game much more immediately than by using the buttons.

The Nintendo DS also provides a built in microphone and a WI-FI connection that allow players in the range of about 30 metres to interact. Furthermore, it is equipped with stereo speakers offering a sort of surround sound system that is placed at the sides of the upper screen and that is subject to the software provided. The WI-FI connection allows to play games online, something that has been even implemented in the following version of Nintendo DS, the Nintendo DS Lite.

This console really is a considerable improvement of the previous features: it is lighter (the weight is 60g less and the size has been reduced of one third) and brighter. The microphone has been moved for the ease of use and the Nintendo DS Lite is now equipped with a bigger stylus for a better control of the game's element. The sound performances have been improved, as well as touch screen capabilities and the WI-FI connection, so that now playing online is really much more amusing.
