What is Antispyware?

I started to use the computer only few year ago, due to my work! Well I am not so young so I met many difficulties during my...(let's call it) “internship”! So I am here explaining you why you should have an antispyware software on your computer! This is for all the people that recently have decided to approach the “computer system” and feel really confuse on that topic!

Let us start from the basis: an antispyware helps you to protect your computer against slow performance, pop-ups, and security threats caused by unwanted software like spy-ware, adware, key-logger, trojan and malware. An antispyware may change your computer’s settings and functionality because it will block or remove such programs. But it is not so easy: ones you have your antispyware you have to keep it updated! Keep in mind that many kinds of  unwanted software are really difficult to remove and maybe you can find that the program reappears as soon as you restart your computer.

Antispyware software is available in several formats, and of course at many different price ranges. It is  available from many software companies.

Antispyware can work in two different ways:

  1. They catch incoming spyware in real time because the computer will be able to scans computer transactions coming over the Internet.
  2. They use an updateable list of known spyware to protect a computer. So in this case you will have to  download frequently new antispywere versions in order to keep their protection software up-to-date.

So, the first blocks unwanted software from being downloaded , the second detects and removes those unwanted software that have already loaded themselves onto your computer.
My advise is to be cautious when downloading software off the Internet and to check several technology websites in order to get a better idea and reviews of reputable downloads.

Keep your computer safe and clean, you will be more relaxed and have a high performance!
