Planning to visit Bucharest?

Let me tell you something about Bucharest in case you are planning a trip to this town. Bucharest , having become one of the most popular and visited Europe, Bucharest has had to react quickly to this new condition. Bucharest is undoubtedly the best kept secret in Europe, in my opinion.
Restaurants, bars, art galleries and museums are now springing up on every corner of the newly renovated. Travellers are steadily discovering this little gem of Europe, and are enchanted by this city, Bucharest, waiting to be discovered.

Here comes the legend of Dracula, which is important for this country, because it represents a piece of history. Vlad Dracul was named defender of the Order of the Dragon King of the Hungarians. Draculea Draculya or used to sign (the son of the devil), then turned into Dracula. He ruled Wallachia and was later defeated by the Turks and was forced to settle in Hungary. Dracula was buried in the church of the Monastery of Snagov, an island near Bucharest, and now his body lies before the altar.

The best time to visit the city is the period between May and June. Spring and autumn are, however, best times for birdwatching in the Danube Delta.
The climate is temperate-continental, characterized by hot summers, cold winters.
The Journal is the Rumanian language of Latin origin, is fluent in English, French and German. The Italian is easy to understand.
The official religion in Bucharest is Orthodox Christian, but there are Muslim minorities, Lutheran. Local currency is the Leu , divided into 100 bani.

Low cost flights to Bucharest : Wizzair and Blueairlines offers very convenient flights departing from London and landing to Bucharest. I suggest you take a look at www.flylowcostairlines.org.

My suggestions on where to stay: I suggest you rent an apartment. I stayed in a beautiful two bedroom apartment of the Regim Hotelier group. These apartments provide short-term rental, and are a very convenient way to stay in Bucharest and save up to 50% compared to a hotel. Nevertheless, Regim Hotelier offers the same type of services a hotel does. You can't tell the difference, really. The Regime Hotelier offers 54 fully furnished apartments in downtown Bucharest , so everything is waliking distance.

Have a great trip !
