Chocolate fondue: easy and cheap!
Do you like chocolate? Then you should have a fondue chocolate where the melted chocolate is the base for infinitive varieties of combinations: it make it easier and adds a certain sense of class! Moreover you will have a delectable dessert that is easy, irresistible and delicious!
Fondue has made a come back. This kind of dessert was launched in 1950 in a small restaurant in New York City and quickly it became extremely popular, giving the rise of “fondues parties”! What has render it really popular was the aspect of sharing a dessert perfect choice for dessert when you are hosting a party!
You can also use a regular pot but there is the risk that the chocolate cool rather quickly so it is preferable to use a fondue pot that has a little flame underneath it in order to keep the chocolate nice, war and melted much longer.
You can put backed good ( pound cakes, brownies, marshmallows...), fresh fruits (strawberries, bananas, pears) and dried fruits (apricots, large chunks of candied ginger) all around your chocolate fondue in order to feel free to pick and choose! Remember to prepare your fruits in advance and sprinkle lemon juice aver the fruits so they won't go brown.

- 12 ounces of dark chocolate
- 8 ounces of heavy cream
- a pinch of salt
- backed good, fresh fruits and dried fruits
- warm the cream and then add the chocolate and whisk until it is smooth and full incorporated.
Transfer it to your fondue pot and arrange all the dippables all around... your party can start!!!
