My passion for dining tables

Since my daughter's birth me and my husband decided that I would stop working in order to have enough precious time to spend with our daughter. We both come from large families and suffered from not having had our parents around during growth. Luckily my husband has a great job and this allows us to have many comforts and many advantages including me being a housewife. We both want our daughter to have the opportunity to grow with the presence of at least one parent next to her step by step her early life. Our little girl is now 4 years old and began kindergarten last year and

I went from not having a spare minute to have too many .To avoid boredom I invented a hobby related to my passion for the aesthetics of the house, especially I became passionate in selling dining tables. Since a was I child I have always been fascinated with dining table of all sorts.  My mother used to have three living room in our big house and each was furnished in  different styles. She loved dining tables and made dining table the most attractive furniture in each living room.  She really was a very creative person and in a way she was of great inspiration to me. For example, one of her living room had a very  traditional regency style and the dining table and chairs were crafted from select wood solids, all finished in warm pine wood. The entire neighborhood admired the aesthetic of her holiday dinning tables. During holidays she used to set tables in a way that increased the value of the tables themselves. I remember one day at Christmas Eve she transformed the dining table in a Christmas nativity scene where all the dishes were decorated with various Christmas figures and the center table was a representation of the nativity and the crib for baby Jesus was used as a bread container ( of course no baby Jesus was inside).

On the other hands, her other living room had a completely different furnitures style. She gave a more contemporary and rural style to that living room and the dining table was a very solid rustic oak squared dining table. Actually that was the living room we used the most, because it was very pratical (especially considering we were 8 kids at home). Actually I saw a very similar style dining table only a few week ago at The Right Price Furniture Store here in Brackla Industrial Estate Bridgend (UK)  and the price was very very convenient , around £384.00.

Our last dining room was the one that most guests liked, maybe because it was the most colored one. Each piece of furniture was of a different wood color. The funny thing is that all colors blended perfectly into the overall look of the room. Of course the dining table was very particular. So, to let you all soon , I spent the last year playing enthusiastically into the dinning table business, quite successfully. But I still have a long way ahead of me before becoming a successful dining table merchandiser because personal good taste and an enormous amount of style and creativeness are required . Not everyone is lucky enough to have the right quantity of both... hope I have just a bit of one or the other al least. Well, I guess I have bored you enough probably but if any of you would like to share some ideas on dining table  I really would enjoy it .
