How about a nice inflatable swimming pool this summer?
Kind of hard getting to buy a removable swimming pool for my kids considering it has to fit my small garden, it has to be light enough for me to get it out of the car box each summer and put it back without breaking my back and it has to be easy and quick to fill and to kip clean. Me and my husband divorced 3 years ago and now he’s gone. He lives 8 hours flight away from us, of course he’s never gonna come back just to set our children’s outdoor swimming pool. So, yeap! I go to do it myself. This is why the manageability of the swimming pool is the first important aspect when getting one.
I looked up around on the net and went to the shopping mall’s swimming pool and outdoor equipment store just to gather some ideas and ask a few suggestions. Hard choice. Really hard choice! Apparently it seems there are various kinds of outdoor removable swimming pools that could fit my requirements. There are inflatable swimming pools and non inflatable rigit swimming pools sitting on top of the ground. The good thing about both solution is that they are very easy to me maintained, the only thing they need is to get an appropriate pool cover for winter time, in order not to get ruined by bad weather. But they don’t require complicated chlorine nor other type of maintenance, as opposed to other small underground laid swimming pools that require several hours a week maintenance and of course, they cost much more than a removable ones.
Removable swimming pools come with their own skimmer, filter and installation guide. Very easy to use.
Now the question is , should I get an inflatable or non inflatable swimming pool ? what is the difference ?
Rigid swimming pools sitting on top of the ground have advantages and disadvantages .
The good thing is that they are cheap , not more than 1659,00 £ for a medium size one (4.5m dia x 1.6 m ) , perfect for my kids. Also, because they are considered a temporary structure, they don’t need any permission to be set in your garden. The only inconvenience could be that they might get very warm if under the sun for many hours. Personally, I don’t mind all that much because if one wants to avoid this problem, one can set the swimming pool under a tree. The true inconvenience for me is that it would be impossible for me to assemble the swimming pool by myself. All instruction manuals explain that two or more persons need to be involved in the setting up operation.
On the other hands, this type of problem would not exists if I get the inflatable swimming pool. This one has its easy to manage air pump and doesn’t even needs filters. Also, the inflatable one takes much less room ones it’s not in use, and this is also a very positive aspect. I looked up for prices and it actually costs even less than the rigid one. Inflatable medium size swimming pools can cost from 24,00 £( the 10 foot diameter one) up to 315,00 £ ( the bigger size one, that holds 5,593 gallons ) . It’s very interesting getting to know the swimming pool world in a way, because if one understands the way a swimming really works , I guess almost anyone who has a even small garden could have one. And, hey! Who doesn’t like dip in cool water in hot summers!
