The caribbeans, the best vacation ever !

If you’ve never been to the Turks and Caicos Islands, then I hope my experience will influence you positively in case you consider going for a trip in this beautiful area. As many of you probably know, the Turks and Caicos Islands is in the middle of the Caribbeans ( though it is a British Overseas Territory ) and is considered one of the most beautiful places of the area ; not only for its marvelous beaches but also for the enchanted landscapes.

The capital is
Cockburn Town , located around 640miles east-southeast of Miami (USA) . The Turks and Caicos Islands are made up from two different groups of islands , the Caicos Islands and the Turks Islands. The Caicos are the larger group of islands and are situated around the Caicos Bank atoll . The area is made up of white sand, beautiful coral, coral reefs and other habitats, typically at depths of from one to six meters. The biggest village of the Caicos Islands is called Kew and I found it really charming, we went there for a day trip and I enjoyed the beauty of the landscapes.
Another peculiarity of the Caicos Islands is that four of the six main islands are inhabited which makes the area very wild looking and very clean and pollution free. Some of the cutest smaller populated islands are Providenciales, North Caicos, Pine Cay tourist resort and Parrot Cay tourist resort.

My good friend Lisa stayed at the Parrot Cay resort & Shambhala Retreat and enjoyed it very much. She told me that the Cay Resort has a total of 55 suites and several private beach houses. She said that it is the perfect vacation for those who seek total relaxation and body care activities. The private villas are located 100 ft of the sea. Personally I have stayed on the Turks Island area of the Turks and Caicos Islands and I as well really enjoyed it a tun ! The Turks Islands are separated from the Caicos Islands by the Turks Island passage which is more than 2 kms deep. The capital of the Turks Island is located in the Grand Turk area. But my hotel was located on the other Turks Islands area called Salt Cay , known for the humpback whales , people say they are the same ones one might admire on the Massachusetts whale watching cruises.

Me and my husband actually got to take a couple of whale watching cruises and I think it will always remains one of my best life experience. I loved the whale's magnificence. Landscape wise , the Turks Islands are as well very relaxing and charming as the Caicos Islands. We stayed at the windmills Plantations hotel, a few steps away from the beach. The hotel is a small luxury hotel. Very affordable compared to other area hotels. The hotel is famous for its diving and snorkeling activities. Actually this is one of the reasons we picked it out. We wanted to combine a relaxing vacation in a beautiful quite area with some sports activities that could allow us to explore the beauties of the Caribbean sea. I am absolutely thrilled about my vacation at the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Hope to go back soon !
