Nowadays it is not easy to choose a printer... to many types!!!

Last month I needed urgent a printer, I went to the right shop, but I was not able to choose one: there are several different types of printers, each suited for different needs!

So now I have a deep knowledge of the different kind of printers that the market offers, and I would like to share with you the information I find out!

First of all you have to think: for which reason I need a printer? To print of course, but what I am going to print? Documents? Photograph? I need a color print or a black and white would be enough for me?

Personally I have chosen an Epson printer. It is cheap, it is a multitasking printer, it costs around 50-100 £ and the printer ribbons are also less expensive that other!

Wich printer is right for you?

For occasional use

There is no need to spend an excessive amount for the purchase of a printer if you do not use it much. We can say that now the market of inkjet printers offers a high quality level. There is not a big difference between models that cost £ 50 and £ 100.

For frequent use, even wireless

Wi-Fi has arrived in the world of printers and it is really easy to install a wireless printer. Among other things, speed and quality of printing does not change. It is a very practical solution: wireless printers belong to medium-high-end product, and usually use ink cartridges. A wireless printer does not need cables and you have the possibility to share it with other computers or laptop.

Semi-professional models with fax

Faxes are still widely used, especially in business, in offices and companies: for this reason, it is easy to find on the market multifunction printers with built-in fax. These printers are an excellent solution for independent professional or for a small team, but this kind of printer is still generally expensive (about £ 300).

What are the characteristics of a printer?

The most important aspects to consider when you buy a printer are:

• Print Technology: The ink-jet printers can be used for almost all types of printing (text, images, etc.). Laser printers are, however, particularly suitable for printing documents because are cheaper than inkjet.
