Discovering China

I could speak very much about China. I’ve always been fascinated by this State with one of the earliest human civilization.

China is one of the largest country and the most populous state in the world. It is located in East Asia. The territory of China is characterized by landscapes and the desertification that is an important matter since China is loosing acres every year. In the South there are hills and mountains, in the Central East we can found the Delta of the major rivers: Yellow river and Yangtze River that is the longest river in Asia, the West is mountainous, with the Himalayas, and the East is surrounded by Yellow Sea and East China Sea.

Between 1949 and 1974 under Mao Zedong China could only be visited by selected foreign visitors,  but nowadays travel to China has become easier and tourism is growing every year.

If you go and visit China you must see the Great Wall of China at Jinshanling, the full-size Terracotta statues of Chinese Imperial soldiers and the Forbidden City in the middle of Peking, it was the residence of the Emperors for almost five hundred years and it’s a World Heritage Site.
