What about Volvo?

My wife has to change her old car. Obviously I want for her a safe and beautiful car, I don’t care if it’s fast.

How to chose the perfect one for my family ?

The market is full of good brand but we focused on Volvo cars.
I think Volvo cars are safe, elegant and innovative.
Volvo company was founded by Assar Gabrielsson and Gustaf Larsson in Sweden in 1927. The first car assembled by Volvo factory was called Volvo OV4 and left the factory in the same year of the foundation. The newborn company assembled both cabriolet and closed top models which carried the Volvo symbol, the sign of iron in ancient chemistry, that we can still see on today’s models. Now Volvo is owned by Ford Motor Company.
Volvo cars have a good  historic reputation for solidity and safety and Volvo company was the first factory to introduce some safety innovative devices, used still today.

Some of these innovative devices are for example:

  • the modern three point safety belt, invented in 1958 by a Volvo engineer.
  • Safety door–locks, in 1966
  • Childproof locks on rear doors, in 1972
  • Volvo was the first to introduce the airbag for protecting the head in case of collision, in 1998

Volvo modern models still maintain their safety rating.
Depending on the body style of the car, Volvo uses letters and series of number: S stands for saloon, V for versatile or station wagon, C for coupé and XC for cross country.

Hi, I I really agree with you. I choose a new Volvo C30 sports coupé and I'm very satisfied... Volvo means security and technology!
