In London, a babysitter's aid is vital!

All we know that the actual life means stressing times and more difficulties in relation to an ordinary family life. More and more often, women are requested to return to work after few months from the childbirth, also when the nursing period is not finished. This means that all recent mothers are no more allowed to take care of their children as it was before, to avoid the risk of losing the job.
Consequently, the demand of babysitting is increasingly growing so you can actually find dozens of agencies offering nanny and babysitting services, especially in the big cities like London.
As babysitting is a quite delicate matter, I suggest that you carefully evaluate some key factors before choosing the babysitter that will take care of your beloved child.
Notwithstanding babysitting may appear as a very simple job, not everybody is able to do it.
Therefore, I suggest that you assess seriously the nanny you are going to hire. If you live in London, just like me, this means that you should control many people before being sure to make the right choice. Browsing in Internet you would be able to choose between the thousands of offers that dozens of agencies provide daily.
Some people think that babysitting is only staying in someone's house, watching the TV, playing with Playstation and, at the end of the day, going back to your house with easy money in the pocket. It is not as easy as it seems.

Main function of a babysitter is to make sure that your child (or children) remains safe, exactly as you leave him to her. To do that, a key factor is that you try to evaluate the babysitter's capabilities, when you first meet her. Roughly speaking, you have to determine if your future babysitter is able to face the challenge of taking care of 3 months baby rather than a 6 years old child. It is easy to imagine that the two situations provide different difficulties and require different babysitter's capabilities.
Another very important factor that you must consider is how many children your babysitter can take care of.
Once you have evaluated all these aspects, make sure that your babysitter has a thorough knowledge of what is usually called "babysitter information sheet".
This sheet is a form that parents must fill, reporting all contacts information your babysitter may need in case of emergency.

Such information are: parents full name and where the parents can be found, house's telephone number and the telephone number (mobile number included) where the parents can be contacted, additional telephone number to use if the parents cannot be contacted, such as neighbour's or grandparents' telephone number, telephone number of the family doctor.
In addition, you must provide to your babysitter all information about your child that may be helpful, such as age and name, allergies that your child may suffer, snacks or foods that your child must not eat and if the child needs medication. In this case, you should show to your babysitter the proper way the medication must be made.
In conclusion, following these simple rules, you will be able to establish a relationship with your nanny that will be mutually convenient and that will let you some time for you without the anxiety of leaving your child at home.
