Prevent Obesity In Children
Save children from obesity. The modern life style,eating habits and new types of food is affecting the health of the children. Children are also suffering from heart diseases, blood pressure, breathing problems and worries. Children are also joining health clubs in order to loose weight. Children get used to wrong eating habits in infancy itself. Excessive intake of milk and butter effect the health. According to the American research majority of the people suffering from obesity and heart diseases are obsese from childhood itself. But the negative effects of these are reaveled when the child reaches adolesence. Now a days most of the women are working.
They lack energy to cook food and order expensive food from outside, thinking that it will save their labour and also make children happy. This is increasing the habit of eating burger, pizza and other types of fast food in children and they cannot avoid it later. If you want to avoid the labour it is not necessary to order the food from outside. Milk, curd, salad, fruits are also beneficial for the children. Fresh fruits and vegetables cannot match anything and it is not necessary to cook them in clarified butter or oil. Boil the vegetables and add salt and lemon juice. Cut fruits and mix in curd. This is good for health. Todays life style also increases obesity. The children hardly play outside.
There is alot of reasons for this. There is no place to play in cities. The houses are small and children hardly get time to play after school. They are busy with homework after school. Children watch television in their free time. This does not help in the exercise of any part . This increases fat. Children like to drink soft drinks and munch something or the other. This is a sort of addicition.
Now a days due to computers in the houses childen are not willing to play out side. They sit in front of computers for long hours, thus thid also increases obesity.
It is necessary to change our thinking. Do not give fried and fatty foods to children. Encourage them to play, swim and do some good exercise. Do not stop them from eating but instead encourage them to eat which is good and nutritional. If you give balanced food to children and explain them the importance of good health then they can be saved from obesity.
