Touch Phones: a speed way to get in touch with people
I recently had to buy a new mobile phone and, as the market offers now dozens of different models at different prices, I have collected some information, before purchasing my new mobile. Here are some of the collected information that could be useful, if you are planning to change your mobile too.
The market area of the mobile phones is increasingly growing, both for the number of users and for the constant innovation. Any other market area is doing the same. In some countries, the proliferation of the mobile phones is a mass diffusion indeed, and the development of the technology and of the collateral services provided (the so called “added values”) are required and suggested by the customers. In these countries, such as Japan and Italy, the average number of mobile phones is estimated in 2/3 per capita.
Most important manufacturers, such as Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, LG and Ericsson are actually offering mobile phones providing more and more collateral features, as digital cams, MP3 players, radio and, above all, mobile phone that use touchscreen technology.
These features change a simple wireless telephone into a multitasking technological product that includes and substitutes different technological devices. In addition, there is a particular attention to the look and the design. Coloured and metallic mobile phones are the best sellers between the teen-agers, who use the mobile as the medium of identification, interaction and socialization.
At the same time, do not forget that there is the market area of business, which considers the mobile phone, or better, the mobile technology, as an essential work tool. In this case, the look is not as important as the technological versatility and the ease of use, such as the smart phones including a palmtop computer, which allows you to call as well as browsing in the web and receiving and sending e-mails. The development of the technology has led to the actual blackberry, which is necessary for those who travel very often and have the need to keep in contact with the office and with the clients. Recently, a new product is achieving a very large success in the market of the mobile phones. First launched in the United States of America, the iPhone is now cult object in Europe as well.
It has been named invention of the year in 2007 by the Time magazine, and it is increasingly becoming the new trend in the mobile phones market, as it is the first mobile phone/MP3 player/palmtop produced by Apple and provides an abundant memory to support all these features. The touchscreen technology full integration is the most interesting features. There are no keys, all is done through the interaction with the display, which covers the whole surface and makes very easy browsing with the iPhone, together with a special device that makes the images follow our movements. In few words, if you are in a vertical position and move to a horizontal position, the images will automatically follow your movement and will be displayed in horizontal. If you want to focus an image, just treat it as it was in your hands, widening or shrinking it. Same procedure is needed if you want to flip through the web pages or the pictures you have done, just like a picture album or a magazine. The overwhelming success of the iPhone is the reason why actually all biggest manufacturers are offering a wide range of touchscreen mobile phones. It is now the ultimate trend, and everybody wants now to substitute the cumbersome keyboard with the “easy to use” touchscreen.
There is now a big struggle in the touchscreen mobile phones’ market to reach, and even overtake – if possible – the iPhone technology’s standards. As a result, we all have the possibility of choosing between many different models, in a wide range of prices, selecting the touchscreen mobile phone that we consider the most appropriate for our requirements.
