Last year my washing machine stopped working and this was a real tragedy. I started immediately searching for a new washing machine. If you usually wash a small amount of laundry, it would be reasonable to purchase a small basket washing machine, as large basket washing machines have a bigger power and water consumption.

On the other hand, the purchase of a larger washing capacity is suggested if you have a big family or if you have specific working requirements. In this case, it would be more comfortable filling one large washing basket rather than doing several washings. Energy consumption is another factor in the purchasing decision. My advice is that you pay a particular attention to both water consumption and power consumption. Do not undervalue these two factors; the lower these factors are, the bigger the energy saving will be.

I think that this factor should be taken in consideration while buying your new washing machine. At the present, families are not as big as in the past and many people are single. They weigh about 3.5 kg and you can regulate your washing time as in the ordinary washing machines.
