The Types of Coffee Machines

A cup of coffee is one of the pleasures you can easily have at your home and it is a philosophy of life as well. There is no need actually to go to a bar to have a tasty cup of coffee. The recent development of the technology allows you now to choose the appropriate coffee machine for your domestic use in a huge range of different manufacturers' offers.

Basically, there are two types of coffee machines. The first type is the "espresso machine", which can produce a cup of espresso rather than a cappuccino. Some models provide also the capacity of doing drip coffee. The second type is the drip coffee machine that usually produces only drip coffee.

The espresso machine might use coffee pods or coffee powder that some models produce through the integrated coffee grinder. The offer of drip coffee machine is getting increasingly widespread and a large number of drip coffee machines is now available, from the machine that produce just one cup at a time until the machines capable to produce twelve cups. Then, there is also the electric coffee machine controlled by a timer that makes it turn on at the desired time to provide you with a cup of coffee just when you get up.
Each type of coffee machine has its own peculiarities.

Some espresso coffee machines are beautiful indeed and some vintage models are a real jump back in the course of time and add a touch of style to your kitchen. The disadvantage is that you must clean very often the filters, especially if not used for days. The coffee pod machine is easy to clean instead but some models do not provide froth capacity. In addition, the styling may be sometimes bizarre.

Drip coffee machines styling may largely vary because designers have satisfied theirs fancies while projecting the latest machines. What is common to all drip coffee machines is the presence of the removable carafe, of the filter and of the water tank.

Then, we have the electric percolator that has a very simple composition: a small chamber at the bottom, where the heat is generated and a coffee pot above, which collects the brewed coffee. In this case, the taste of the coffee would be very close to the coffee that once your grandmother was used to do.
As said before, coffee is a philosophy of life. This is the reason that people love different types of coffee. If you like strong and sharp aroma you will choose the espresso coffee machine. For those who like classic flavours the electric percolator may be the right choice.

If you love to take your time drinking your coffee in the space of the day, you would probably choose a drip coffee machine.
