Ipod Touch guide
Music is definitely my favourite form of art; I cannot imagine my life without music. In the early 80's I lived the revolution of the walkman that was an extraordinary change in my life. For the very first time, it was possible going out for a walk being able to listen music. I still keep my walkman as a memory of my youth. The problem with the walkman was indeed that you were able to listen just one tape at the time and the longest tapes had duration of 90 minutes, so that you had to change the side of the tape at least each 45 minutes. When I remember these days I am about to smile, especially in comparison to what is available now in relation to portable media players. The walkman has been actually completely overtaken by the new products that the development of the technology makes available.
The invention of the MP3 format has changed the way we listen music. This file format allows you to store a very large amount of music in a very small space because the MP3 reduces considerably the size of the musical files. As a result, you can create endless playlists of your favourite musical files. A portable media player is what you only then require to have your music wherever you go and whatever you do. Huge quantities of musical files can be listened in a continuous way and no action is required. You only have to choose the playlist you want to listen and the portable media player will go until you stop it.
The market offers now many different portable media players although, in my opinion, the iPod is with no doubts the best one available now. The iPod is the portable media player created and launched on 2001 by Apple that opened the door to a new way of listening music.
The iPod touch is a substantial development of the iPod, it was launched on 2007, and the main new feature was the touch screen technology. First iPod touch was based upon the iPhone concept and it was equipped with a 3,5" display defined by the multi-touch technology that allows you to control the device by using the touch screen interface.

The choice was between two different memory capacities, 8 or 16 GB. First iPod provided a WI-FI connection that allows you to browse in Internet through the integrated Safari software rather than access to You Tube videos streaming or iTunes WI-FI Music Store, where you can purchase your favourite music. One year later the iPod touch second generation was launched, with slight but meaningful changes that make it now very similar to the new iPhone. A new built-in speaker has been added, allowing you to listen music rather than conversations without headphones, a function that is ideal for occasional hearing.
Two volume buttons have been built-in the left side of the iPod touch, for an easier control of the sound, like the iPhone. You have now three different memories available; further to the previous 8 or 16 GB capacity, the new iPod touch may be equipped with a 32 GB memory. The iPod touch second generation has a chrome frame, a very important part of the sleek new design (as Apple calls the new look). This feature makes iPod touch to be alike the iPhone so that in the front view the two devices are almost indistinguishable.
Another interesting new feature is the Genius function that allows you to create automatic playlists, based upon pieces that are similar to the piece that you are actually listening. Another new feature of the second-generation iPod touch is the integration with the Nike+ kit. You just have to fit the Nike+ iPod Sensor into you Nike+ shoes and the wireless connection will let the sensor transmit all the information regarding distance, calories and time elapsed to your iPod touch. If you like videogames, iPod touch gives you access to the App Store, where you can download hundreds of sensational games and applications
In conclusion, I think that actually there is nothing better than iPod touch for your portable entertainment
